Reiki is a form of alternative medicine called “energy healing”. Reiki practitioners use a technique called hands on healing through which a “universal energy” is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the client in order to encourage emotional and/or physical healing. Some benefits can include stress reduction and relaxation; brings a fealing of harmony and inner peace; balances mind and emotions; offers relief during times of emotional distress and sorrow; assists in speeding up recovery from surgery or illness; dissolves energy blocks: assists the body in cleaning itself from toxins and supports the immune system; improves focus; aids in better sleep; compliments medical treatments and other therapies. Reiki is for everyone: adults, babies, toddlers, children, the elderly and even pets.
