The Second Pause

For several years I gave up on writing completely. During this time, the publisher continued to sell the paperback version of my book and I continued to pretend that it wasn’t happening. At this point, I was living on the road with my husband full time for his job which was mayhem.

During the ten years on the road, I had gotten into doing video. For most of this time, I filmed a pilot for a TV show and became addicted to filming & editing video. This addiction helped me not only get through creative blocks with writing; but also; the reason I started writing screenplays.

After doing video; I see everything through a lens. Video also allowed me to bring my interior design love to life, as well as sharpened my audio narrative skills. It was writing the video narratives that kept my toe in the writing pool.
