Restoration International Community Outreach Association (RICOA)
At RICOA, we believe hope is stronger than hardship.
We are a Christian organization, called by faith and compassion, to serve the most vulnerable boys and girls in Liberia — children who deserve to dream, to heal, and to thrive.
Liberia has endured unimaginable challenges. Two brutal civil wars, from 1989 to 1997 and from 1998 to 2003, claimed the lives of nearly 250,000 people—around 8% of the population—and left millions displaced. Once a thriving nation, Liberia’s economy was devastated, with a 90% collapse that deepened poverty and suffering.
Yet even in the darkest times, light shines.
Mission
At RICOA, we are building a future where every child is seen, valued, and given the chance to grow. We serve all children, without distinction of race, color, sex, language, religion, birth, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other status. Every child carries a spark of God’s love — and we are here to help it shine.
