About Us

My interest in barbecue started with the backyard cookouts my dad would have in the summer. The smell of meat cooking over a fire or smoking meat brings me a feeling I love. This is what led me to moving to The Count and opening my own BBQ joint. Originally from Toronto I had dreams of having a big enough backyard for my own outdoor kitchen with a few smokers and wood fired grill. After visiting the county and seeing it's vibrant food scene I decided this was the place for me to plant my feet. I've always wanted to open up a BBQ take out spot of my own and now it's a reality!
