OUR STORY
Rooted in a deep belief that spaces like this matter
Housed in what was The Wellington United Church, built in 1955, this space has long been part of the community’s story. For us, it’s also personal: having grown up attending here with grandparents, it continues to hold a sense of familiarity and meaning.
When the building’s future became uncertain, we felt a pull to preserve it—not just as a building, but as a space for community. Today, The Wellington Gathering Grove carries that spirit forward. It’s a place for connection in all its forms—celebration, reflection, creativity, and everyday moments.

YOUR
GATHERING,
The Grove is a place for coming together—whatever that looks like for you.
Built for connection and community, our hall is designed to flex with your needs and welcomes a wide range of gatherings: weddings, celebrations of life, meaningful milestones, and community events and activities: host your book club or knitting circle, guide yoga and meditation, rehearse with your choir or band, or bring people together for workshops, seminars, and speakers.
