Qualitative Respirator Fit Tester

This course is designed to familiarize participants with required qualitative respirator fit testing protocols based on CSA standards. Participants will learn about respiratory hazards, why respirator are required, types of respirators, and proper use and care. We will also cover types of recognized respirator fit testing methods. Step-by-step qualitative testing procedures and reporting will be instructed using either Bitrex/Saccharin, or Irritant Smoke (Stannic Chloride) methods. Using desired method, the participant’s will perform respirator testing and practice until they are confident in the testing and reporting procedures.
