Flax
Linen
A natural, luxurious fiber made from the flax plant, it’s one of the oldest textiles in the world, dating back to 8000 BC. It’s known for its strength, breathability and its ability to absorb moisture.
Our medium-weight linen is manufactured in Poland, supplied to us by Fabric–Store, USA. All our dyed linen is environmentally friendly, using European dye materials that are AZO-free and meet all requirements that are needed to be certified by Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certified.
Denim
We are proud to partner with Cone Denim USA. Cone Denim is a global leader in denim authenticity and sustainable innovation. They have memberships with the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol, which supports United States cotton growers. Cone Denim ensures responsible sourcing and supply chain transparency. Its denim is sustainably grown with lower environmental impact and greater social responsibility.
Our denim is part of Cone Denim’s Sustainblue ™ collection, which encompasses a variety of sustainable certifications and practices throughout its production process, from sourcing raw materials to manufacturing.
Cone Denim utilizes Oritain technology for verifying the origin and ensuring the responsible sourcing of its cotton and utilizes Oritain's Origin Fingerprint technology to trace its supply chain.
Thread
Our thread is manufactured by American & Efird, USA. An industry leader in environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility in thread manufacturing. American & Efird is part of Elevate Textiles Inc.
Zippers
Our Zippers are supplied to us by YKK, the number one zipper brand in the world. Supporting the environmental crusade since 1934, founded in Tokyo by Tadao Yoshida. The zippers are manufactured in Japan, supplied to us by Canada YKK in Toronto.
Hardware
Our O-rings, D-rings, Swivel hooks and Jump rings are supplied by Buckle Guy, USA, a solid brass, low lead, below 90 ppm hardware. Brass is a highly recyclable metal, does not rust, bends before it breaks and holds more weight.
Interfacing
Our Interfacing is made by Pellon, USA, manufactured in Mexico, and supplied to us by James Austin Canadian Fabrics.
Packaging
Our hang tags, postcards, heart stickers and business cards are supplied by Zoum Impression & Design, in Quebec, Canada.
Using only ecological properties, 100% natural and recyclable. The properties are Forest Stewardship Council certified, Green-e certified, wind energy, chlorine-free, acid-free, recyclable and compostable. Our packaging is 100% recyclable, and 93% recycled.
Paper Packaging
Our boxes, stickers, and tissue paper are manufactured by Shantou Guyin Packing Co., Ltd., China.
They’re certified SGS (General Society of Surveillance) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).
Polybags
Our polybags are supplied to us by The Better Packaging Co.Ltd., New Zealand. Recycled from ocean- bound plastic, to be reused into our mailers.

Giving Back
Pretty Drift is donating 2% of its sales each month to the WPC (Wildlife Preservation of Canada), which targets the Canadian wild bee population. Specifically, the Rusty Patch bumble bee, which is on the brink of extinction, and the Yellow Banded bumble bee, which are now species of special concern.
As stated by the WPC, "Without bumble bees, we have an ecological disaster!"
